The forecasters were predicting the storm of the century with wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour, torrential downpours and major power outages throughout the Pacific Northwest. We were planning for the worst, but still hoping Kate and Kyle's ceremony would be held in the garden. Mother nature has a mind of her own, however, so the wedding was moved into the chapel instead. The arbor my husband made especially for the wedding was transferred to the entrance of the reception area and decorated with greens. Kate and Kyle chose rich colors of burgundy and navy with touches of gold. Brass candlesticks, terrariums, branches and greenery decorated the tables. Ferns hung from the beams and a variety of candles filled the large fireplace decorated with the garland from the ceremony.
Liz Lui captured the stunning photographs, including a deer who was determined to attempt to eat Kate's bouquet!
Kate and Kyle allowed me a lot of creative freedom and it was such a joy to work with them on their beautiful Roche Harbor Wedding.
